Applying for a Library Card

Anyone living, working, or attending school in Ohio may obtain a free library card by applying at the McKinley Memorial Library.

At the time of application for a library card, please present a photo ID, such as an Ohio Driver's License or State of Ohio ID card. If your photo ID does not have your current address, a utility bill or piece of mail with a recent postmark showing your current address is required.

New cardholders will be limited to 4 items.

Juvenile Cards
A parent or legal guardian must be present with photo identification and proof of current address in order to apply for a library card for their child. Legal guardians must also provide proof of guardianship. The parent or legal guardian must be in good standing with their library account.

Your Library Card
Your McKinley Memorial Library card must be presented in order to borrow library materials. 

Please inform the library of change of address and report a lost card immediately so that you will be protected.

The charge to replace a lost card is $1.50.
