  • Borrowing eBooks/e-audiobooks

    Can I borrow eBooks/e-audiobooks from the library?

    Yes. You can use Libby, the library reading app, and Hoopla to borrow eBooks and e-audiobooks for free with your library card. For more information visit our DIGITAL MEDIA webpage.

  • Copying/Scanning/Faxing

    Do you have a copier/scanner/fax machine? How much does it cost?

    We offer all of these services. We can only accept cash. VIEW PRICING CHART for the costs of copying and printing. Scanning and Faxing (sending only) are offered at no charge! You cannot receive faxes at the library.

  • Library Card: Sign Up for a New Card

    I’d like to sign up for a library card. What do I need to do?

  • Library Card: From Another Library

    I have a card from another library. Can I use it here?

    If you have a card from another CLEVNET library, you can use it here. VIEW a list of CLEVNET libraries.

    If you have a card from the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, or any other library not part of CLEVNET, you cannot use it here. You are welcome to sign up for a McKinley Memorial Library card. GET MORE INFORMATION about applying for a card.

  • Library Card: Expired/Renew

    My library card is expired. How do I renew it?

    Library cards expire every three years. To renew your card, please visit the library and present a photo ID, such as an Ohio Driver's License or State of Ohio ID card. If your photo ID does not have your current address, a utility bill or piece of mail with a recent postmark showing your current address is required.

  • Library Card: Lost/Replace

    I lost my library card. How do I get a new one?

    Please visit the library to replace your card. There is a $1.50 charge to replace your card. Be sure to bring your photo ID. If your ID does not have your current address on it, you will also need to bring in a utility bill or piece of mail with a recent postmark showing your current address.

  • Memorial - Requests to Use Grounds and Auditorium for Events

    I would like to have a special event on the Grounds/in the Auditorium of the Memorial. Whom should I contact?

    Please contact the Museum Director at 330-652-4273. The Library is a tenant in the Memorial and unable to grant permission to use the Grounds or Auditorium.

  • Meeting Rooms

    Do you have meeting rooms?

    Meeting rooms are available offsite at the Mckinley Birthplace Home (less than one block from the library). Please visit the MEETING ROOMS webpage for more information.

  • Notary Public

    Can you notarize a document?

    No, we do not provide notary services. We recommend calling your bank to see whether they have a notary public on staff.

  • Photos for Wedding/Graduation/Prom at the Memorial

    I would like to take my wedding/graduation/prom photos at the Memorial. Whom should I contact?

  • Photos/Videos Inside the Library

    Am I allowed to take photos/make videos inside the library?

  • Printing: From Library Computer

    Can I print from a library computer?

    You may print from a library computer for a small fee. We can only accept cash. VIEW PRICING CHART for the costs of copying and printing.

  • Printing: From Laptop/Mobile Device

    Do you offer Printing from a Laptop/Mobile device?

    Yes. When you visit the library we can show you how to do this.

  • Printing: Without a Library Card

    I don’t have a library card, but I need to print something. Can you help me?

    If the document can be sent in an email, you may email it to us, and we will print it for you. Regular fees apply. We can only accept cash. VIEW PRICING CHART for the costs of copying and printing.

  • Streaming Services: Music, Movies, & More

    Does the library offer streaming services for music or movies?

    Yes. You can stream music, movies, TV shows, eBooks, e-audiobooks, and more on Hoopla. You can stream films, documentaries, and educational children’s content on Kanopy. Both services are free with your library card. For more information visit our DIGITAL MEDIA webpage.

  • Tech Help

    Can the library help me use technology (smartphone, email, Facebook, etc.)?

    We offer 45-minute, One-on-One Tech Help Appointments on Tuesday afternoons. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call 330-652-1704, ext. 3.

  • Using a Library Computer

    Can I use a library computer?

    You must have your own library card to use a computer. You are guaranteed one hour of computer use per day and limited to two hours of computer use per day. For more information visit the COMPUTER USE webpage.
