Join us for an afternoon of sweet treats and local history! Bonnie Tawse, author of The Belt Cookie Table Cookbook, will discuss the history of the cookie table. This longstanding wedding tradition allowed newlyweds to spare the expense of a wedding cake, opting instead for a sampling of cookies and other sweets prepared by friends and family. There will be a small cookie table at the event; feel free to bring cookies to share!
