Stop by the McKinley Birthplace home to wish President McKinley (portrayed by Mike Wilson) a happy 182nd birthday. The celebration will include games and light refreshments (while supplies last). At 3 p.m., President McKinley will discuss the role faith played in his upbringing. The McKinley Birthplace Home will be open for tours from 2–4 p.m.  

A writer and educator from Northeast Ohio, Amy Bue’s fascination with Bigfoot started in 2012, when she saw something she couldn’t explain. Although Amy’s private field research is concentrated in Pennsylvania’s Allegheny National Forest, and her work with the Olympic Project is based in Washington State, she crosses the country speaking and researching in areas of high interest while following up on witness reports and looking for evidence of Bigfoot’s existence. Ages 12 and up. 

Dive into the history of Presidents’ Day with Belinda Weiss from the National McKinley Birthplace Memorial Museum. The presentation will begin at 3 p.m. Trivia and light refreshments will be provided (while supplies last). The McKinley Birthplace Home will be open for tours from 2–4 p.m.   

Celebrate Presidents’ Day by touring the replica of the home where William McKinley, Niles native and 25th President of the United States, was born. Trivia and other activity sheets will be available.  

Spend a cozy winter evening watching a movie that all ages will enjoy! Our movie selection will be announced the week before the event. Refreshments will be provided.
